On this Expedition Cruise, Mike Reyfman and World Photo Travels Inc. are acting on behalf of Wild Nature Photo Travel Pty Ltd only for booking an allocation on the Expedition Cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula and Shetland Islands on the MV Polar Pioneer, departing from Ushuaia (Argentina) on December 8, 2023, and returning to Ushuaia on December 21, 2023. The agreement is valid from the moment of paying the deposit to Wild Nature Photo Travel Pty Ltd to moment the expedition ends on December 21, 2023. All financial and legal disputes should be resolved between the participants and Wild Nature Photo Travel Pty Ltd.
1. Photography Expeditions / Workshops and Scouting Trips
This Photography Expedition is organized and run by Wild Nature Photo Travel Pty Ltd trading as Joshua Holko Photography (Hereafter referred to as WNPT).
2. Registration
Registration is completed when the initial deposit of $4,000 USD per person along with the signed booking form has been received by WNPT. Note: All Reservations are binding. The balance of payment must be paid in accordance with the payment terms and conditions. The entire participation fee must be paid within 5 business days in cases where registration is completed later than the specified final payment date.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation must be made in writing immediately to WNPT if you are prevented from traveling. If a cancellation is made more than six months prior to the scheduled departure, you will be refunded any participant fee paid to date minus the initial deposit of $4,000 USD. There will be no refunds made on cancellations made less than six months prior to the scheduled date of departure. Please be aware that if the cancellation is made less than six months prior to departure and final payment has not yet been made, you are still obligated to pay the remaining amount as due. Once an expedition is underway there shall be no refunds made. Prices are based upon group participation and no refunds shall be made on any segments of the program in which you do not wish to participate. No refunds are made to participants who do not complete the expedition (or in cases where the participant withdraws from the expedition prematurely), regardless and irrespective of the reason.
4. Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance
It is mandatory that all travelers purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance as protection against an emergency which may force you to cancel or leave from an expedition either before it begins or while it is in progress. WNPT will not be held accountable for any costs you may incur irrespective of your insurance status.
5. Medical Information
Participation on a WNPT expedition requires that you be in generally good health. It is essential that persons with any medical problems and related dietary restrictions make them known to us before departure. We can counsel you on whether the expedition you have selected is appropriate for you. The tour leader has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the tour if he feels the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances. By forwarding of deposit, the passenger certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other passengers.
6. Price Modifications
WNPT reserves the right to increase the price of the expedition if cost increases arise due to changes in transport costs, changes in taxes, customs or other fees or changes in the exchange rate. Participants will be notified in writing of any price modifications. WNPT also reserves the right to increase the cost of an expedition in accordance with any bunker clauses.
7. Itinerary Changes and Trip Delay
WNPT reserves the right to change an expeditions dates, itinerary, or accommodations as conditions warrant. These are expeditions to remote parts of the world and we reserve the right to change the itinerary due to weather conditions, political conditions and other factors beyond our control without consulting the participants. It is understood that such decisions will be madein the best interests of all participants and with regards to safety first Participants have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these inevitable itinerary changes. If a trip must be delayed, or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness (includng pandemic), volcanic eruption or other contingency for which WNPT or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays or changes is not included.
8. Itinerary Cancellation
WNPT reserves the right to cancel an expedition before departure for any reason whatsoever, including too few participants or logistical problems such as strikes, wars, acts of God, volcanic eruptions, pandemic, or any other circumstances which may make operation of the trip inadvisable. All trip payments received will be promptly refunded, and this refund will be the limit of WNPT liability. WNPT is not responsible for any expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip, including nonrefundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, special clothing, visa or passport fees or other trip related expenses.
9. Limitations of Liability
WNPT, its owners, agents and employees assume no responsibility whatsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, pandemic, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary maybe made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants. In case of a medical problem arising during the expedition, which results in costs for evacuation, use of aircraft or repatriation, the responsibility for payment of these costs belongs solely to the passenger. WNPT strongly advises that passengers ensure that such eventualities are covered by travel insurance. If not covered by travel insurance the responsibility still remains with the passenger and WNPT specifically decline any responsibility whatsoever.
